Olivier Walther

Born and raised in a Basel suburb, Olivier Walther now resides between Zurich, Lucerne and Basel. He has a soft spot for the golden age Hollywood films of the 80s and 90s, believes football is the most beautiful sport and considers the late 70s to be the era of the most significant music.

As a filmmaker, Olivier works locally and internationally and has a keen interest in photography. He discovered his passion for creativity through graffiti in the early 2000s, which led him to work as an assistant at a film production company in Basel. He later honed his craft during four years at a leading advertising agency in Zurich.

His passion for images, colors, people, and their stories is unbroken, and every new project excites him all over again. He says, "Filmmaking was the first place where I brought together everything interesting about life. I love that it is something you can endlessly grow into.”
